LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Atlas Music Publishing, which was recently acquired by Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings, has announced a joint venture with legendary producer Quincy Jones and his company Quincy Jones Productions.

Atlas CEO Richard Stumpf, who founded the music publishing company in 2013, first administered Jones’ catalog while at Cherry Lane Music in the mid-2000s alongside current Atlas COO/Partner Phil Cialdella.

In announcing the JV, Stumpf said in a statement: “I’ve never met a more inspiring and gracious person with such worldly knowledge beyond music. When Quincy talks to you, he is genuinely interested in what’s going on in your world. I’m sure this is one of the qualities that make him such a creative genius. He brings the best out of people. Through this joint venture, Atlas is humbled to be able to support Quincy, Adam Fell and the rest of the Quincy Jones team as they bring the best out of young writers, who like us, are drawn to his magic.”

Atlas Music Publishing’s current client roster includes Eddie and Alex Van Halen, Brandi Carlile and Warren Haynes, among others.
