(CelebrityAccess) Nick Knox, 60, former drummer for The Cramps, has died, apparently June 14.

Several sources announced on social media that Knox passed away (“shuffled off the mortal coil,” according to friend John D. Morton of the Electric Eels.

Knox played in the Cramps from 1977 to 1991 and recorded on four of its studio albums: Songs the Lord Taught Us, Psychedelic Jungle, A Date With Elvis and Stay Sick.

Cause of death was not known at press time.

My friend Nick Knox shuffled off the mortal coil last night. I saw a self portrait of the artist Tseng Kwong Chi in front of the Eiffel Tower except his figure had been cut out. It was explained to me as a custom of remembering the dead by removing them from photos.
